What makes the Sabal Palm the top seller in the Panhandle?

Exceptional durability and versatility: Wind and salt resistant, full sun to part shade, adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions, drough tolerant once established, and cold hardy to about 15 degrees with minimal change. Perfect for pools, hedges, tight spaces, adding height to your landscape, and filtered shade.

The Sabal is a must have for a proper Florida landscape!

Sabal palms are harvested from forest areas in Florida where they grow naturally. When a Sabal palm is transplanted and shipped it is cut to a hurricane cut style for two reasons: the plants energy can be focused on the root system rather than the foliage and when it is planted it catches less wind therefor having a lower chance of blowing over before the roots effectively anchor the tree. The majority of Sabal palms planted in the Panhandle area are hurricane cut.
